Our story began about sixty years ago in the Eaton Armory building on October 29, 1950. Since then, God has blessed us with beautiful facilities on the corner of Maple St. and Lexington Rd. We are actually right across the street from the Eaton Little League fields. We are an independent Baptist church that is made up of people from every walk of life that come together throughout the week to worship and serve the Lord. We have been serving Preble County and the Eaton community for over sixty years. Our folks have such a heart for getting the Gospel around the world that it has led us to support over 100 missionaries, both abroad and in our own backyard.
In 2012 we began a new chapter of our story when our pastor of 42 years, Fred Hill, retired and God gave us a new pastor, Andrew Stensaas. We are excited by the vision that God has given him for our church. God has been so good to our church in seeing many come to know Christ as their Savior. We are excited about what the Lord is doing currently at First Baptist Church and look forward to see the great things He has in store for us in the future.
